Lockout PRO™ v3 Enterprise Versions

The Lockout PRO™ v3 Enterprise versions are Basic (LOPBASIC3001) and Corporate (LOPCORP2001).  Basic has a 3 Administrator limitation whereas Corporate has unlimited user access for creation, edits, and deletions.

Desktop Client Requirements
A fully featured client application that provides full procedure creation and modification functionality.   After you've activated and configured LOCKOUT PRO™, you can distribute the client installation files to users' computers, as well as send the Remote Administrator Application to additional administrator user machines. There are two ways to distribute these files:

• Use the provided Web Installer, which offers an easy interface instructing users how to save the installation files and then install Lockout PRO™.
• Use Microsoft's Group Management Policy tool to silently "push" the installation files to the client machines. (You may also have a third party software application that you use to perform such silent installs.)

Server Requirements
A comprehensive application that provides file and data storage and management functionality to the other components of the system and supports the Web Viewer application that provides view/print access to the Lockout procedures and other content sections.

This program is installed on a web server configured for Intranet, Extranet, or secured Internet access. It is recommended that this be installed by the system administrator of the web server or an IT professional. This application can be installed on one server unless an additional server license has been purchased.

Restrictions
PC client apps have to be on the same domain as the server in order to see the server. If you have clients that are on different domains then they will need to be given domain access or an additional Enterprise application will need to be procured for that group.

 

Web Viewer Requirements (included with Enterprise Versions)
An HTML based application provided by the Lockout PRO™ Enterprise Server component that provides view and print access to the Lockout procedures and the content sections including the online training. This is accessed through a web browser and requires no installation or configuration on the client computer. Unlimited access to this service is included in all licenses of Lockout PRO™ Enterprise.

Unless otherwise noted in the table below, the requirements for Lockout PRO™ Enterprise are the same as those for Lockout PRO™ v3 Desktop version.

Remote Administrator Requirements
The Administrator Application provides an easy-to-use interface to manage the enterprise server functions and as well as user access. (Note: The remote administrator requirements are the same as the Lockout PRO™ Desktop requirements.)

User Permission Levels

• Administrator A user with Admin rights may perform all functions available in both the client and server components of Lockout PRO™.
• Author A user with Author rights may create and edit procedures from the client application, as well as view and print, but cannot modify templates, defaults, or the related information.
• Viewer A user with Viewer rights may only view and print procedures, lockout tags, energy source labels, and related information.
  

Supported Printers and Templates
The Lockout PRO™ application must support printing on the following printers:

• GlobalMark®
• HandiMark® (energy source labels only)
• Sheet-fed laser/inkjet

The following layouts (templates) must be supported. In most cases the layouts are unchanged from previous versions of the application. If the layout is new or revised for v3, updated templates must be provided by Brady.
