New Features

The MarkWare LEAN version of the software includes Equipment Visuals labels.

Bug Fixes

The following product changes and repairs were included when the product was shipped:

When printing a full-color label with reverse text, the text box appears as a solid black box: This has been corrected and the text now prints in reverse text mode.
QN 200151312: When opening a saved file, the software automatically adjusts the label width to fit the installed media.
The Help window shows v3.0 in the title bar. The correct version is now displayed in the Help window.
The Help "Objects" is spelled as Object's: The spelling has been corrected.
When Snap-to-Grid is enabled and you tab between objects, the tab snaps to grid: The tab no longer snaps to the grid when the Snap-to-Grid option is activated.
Can't select multiple printers to install: An Add Printer button has been added during printer driver installation.
Help Window E-help button brings up incorrect target: The E-help button(s) have been removed. All Help is accessed through the Help button on the menu bar.
Print Driver version indicates 4.00 instead of 1.5: The Print Driver version now correctly indicates v2.0.
Spanish 2K print driver installation, the "OK" button needs to be translated to read "Aceptar": The OK button has been translated into Spanish.
Some Spanish Uninstall "Yes/No" buttons are not translated from English: The Yes/No buttons have been translated into Spanish.
NYC portrait template preview shows MEA tagline extending off the label: The MEA tagline no longer extends off the label.
In the MINIMARK^TM Printer Setup cutter-setting preferences, the label may not cut when requested: The cutter setting preferences in the MINIMARK^TM print setup have been corrected and the label is now cut when a request is sent.
Markware^TM 3.6 does not have all Right-to-know sizes for GLOBALMARK® Printer All RTK sizes for GLOBALMARK® have been added.

Work-Arounds

When running the Printer Driver 2.0 installation disk, if you encounter an error similar to "Last Error = 5", make sure that you have administrator rights and that your local security policy allows you to install device drivers.

You cannot change to rounded corners after rotating an angled arrow. After rotating, the option to change to rounded corners is greyed out. If you want to use rounded corners, check the option to change to rounded corners before rotating the angled arrow.
In Vista, you must have full administrative control in the registry settings to change the setup preferences for any Markware-supported Brady printer. To change the setup preferences, ask your system administrator to change your user permissions to Full Control. You can then change your printer setup preferences.
