An effective TPM program will dramatically improve equipment reliability and significantly extend equipment life-cycle. But implementing TPM demands a change in the way an organization interacts with its people, processes, and infrastructure. In this webcast, Ellis will define TPM and its role in Lean Manufacturing. He will also review each of the basic TPM pillars, and show how they support each other to drive meaningful cultural change and significant ROI gains.
Ellis New is a Senior Management Consultant / Project Manager with Productivity Inc., a leading international operations improvement consulting and training firm.
Ellis spent the first 10 years of his career at Pirelli Cable Corporation, where he pioneered company's process improvement activities, both at the plant and corporate level. He was also responsible for TPM implementation at Pirelli's four North American Energy Division Sites, which gained recognition as a best practices benchmark for the company worldwide.
At Productivity Inc., Ellis advises and trains Global 1000 companies around the world on Lean Manufacturing and TPM practices. He is also an instructor at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Center for Operational Excellence.
