TPM is a data-driven process designed to improve the productivity of your equipment.
But how do you measure progress in equipment productivity? Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is that measurement system. But there are many misconceptions about OEE. This webcast will cover the basics of OEE (including the 6 basic categories of losses), highlight proper and improper applications of the OEE metric, and provide proven approaches for eliminating or minimizing losses in each category. The webcast will also include an actual case study where we will calculate OEE, categorize losses and develop an improvement plan.
John Kravontka has served as a training specialist, maintenance professional, and a continuous improvement advisor. As President of Fuss & O'Neill Manufacturing Solutions LLC, John has assembled a team of trainers, engineers, maintenance managers and operator mechanics who employ a hands-on team approach to help clients improve equipment effectiveness.
John has more than 36 years of troubleshooting and retrofit experience. In 1998, he was selected as the first professor to teach TPM to senior management at United Technologies' Quality (Lean) University. Working together with NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership, he has also developed innovative TPM training which is currently used in 50+ MEP centers around the country
