Air-Blown Fiber Capabilities

NetDoc®2 software offers enhanced air-blown fiber documentation and tracking that allows users to diagram cable runs and effectively trace and manage pathways, cables and continuous circuits via the web interface.

• Add a circuit ID to one or multiple strands for tracing continuous circuits
• Show all ports and spaces by using circuit IDs on multiple pairs (IDs can be saved, searched and updated)
• Document air-blown fiber, including splicing, pathways within pathways, and custom types and fields

Microsoft Office Excel Interface to NetDoc®2 Software

Designed for easy navigation and usability, NetDoc2 Network Cable Management Software gives users the ability to use Microsoft Excel to provide live updates to the software's database with the following new functions:

• Define and verify assets, termination hardware, backbone cables, backbone pairs, asset ports, and horizontal links in Excel direct from the closet or data center
• Populate cells in Excel with data from the NetDoc2 system using the software's database-connected navigation tool - a helpful tool for checking or updating the system for documented network equipment while in the closet, office space or data center

Export Functionality

With NetDoc2 Network Cable Management Software's Excel Interface, users can pull live data directly from the NetDoc2 system and quickly export it into a convenient, easy-to-use Excel document.

• New "Export to Excel" allows data to be used with Help Desk tickets or other network management applications
