REGULATORY

Brady B-1163 is RoHS compliant to 2002/95/EC.

 

SPECIAL FEATURES

B-1163 is simple to apply and is cleanly removable from surfaces.  This material has good clarity and conformability.

 

B-1163 can be printed using screen process, UV-offset and UV-flexo (max 50°C) printing technologies.

Chemical resistance
-unprinted film		 Excellent water resistance; can be wiped clean using water and soft household detergent. Immersion not recommended in most esters, ketones, gasoline, etc.
UV Light Resistance No appreciable yellowing after normal exposure. Good fade resistance.
Shrinkage

1 minute after separation from paper backing at 21°C (70°F)

Machine direction shrinkage:   -2%
Transverse direction shrinkage:   +1%
Optical Transparency Transparent; hardly visible fish-eyes, flow lines or processing marks
Dimensional stability No measurable shrinkage on applied parts
Service Temperature -20°C to 50°C (-5°F to 122°F)
Application Temperature Minimum +15°C (59°F)
Expected Service Life 2 years indoors, 6 months outdoors


 

Product testing, customer feedback, and history of similar products, support a customer performance expectation of at least three years from the date of receipt for this product as long as this product is stored in its original packaging in an environment 70°F/50% RH. We are confident that our product will perform well beyond this time frame. However, it remains the responsibility of the user to assess the risk of using such product. We encourage customers to develop functional testing protocols that will qualify a product's fitness for use, in their actual applications.
