Description:
Brady B-137 is a polyvinylfluoride film with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive and a topcoat specially formulated for inkjet printers.
Brady B-137 is designed for applications, like cable marking and component identification, that require a self-extinguishing material as well as good solvent and high temperature resistance. Hewlett Packard's 600 Series or newer black inks are recommended for use with this product.
Brady B-137 has good smudge, solvent, and water resistance along with good termperature performance. B-137 has been judged to be self-extinguishing by laboratory testing.

PERFORMANCE PROPERTY | CHEMICAL RESISTANCE | Samples were printed with HP 600 Series inks, laminated to flat aluminum panels, and dwelled 24 hours prior to test. Testing consisted of 5 cycles of 10 minute immersions in the specified chemicals followed by 30 minute recovery periods. After the final immersion the flat samples were rubbed with cotton swabs. Testing was conducted at room temperature.CHEMICAL REAGENT | APPEARANCE OF LABEL STOCK | APPEARANCE OF HEWLETT PACKARD'S 600 SERIES BLACK INK | | Methyl Ethyl Ketone | Slight adhesive ooze | Moderate smear when rubbed | | 1,1,1-Trichloroethane | Slight adhesive ooze | Slight smear when rubbed | | Toluene | Slight adhesive ooze | Moderate smear when rubbed | | Freon® TMS | No visible effect | Slight smear when rubbed | | Isopropyl Alcohol | No visible effect | Slight smear when rubbed | | Mineral Spirits | No visible effect | No visible effect | | JP-8 Jet Fuel | No visible effect | No visible effect | | ASTM #3 Oil | No visible effect | No visible effect | | Mil 5606 Oil | Label turned pink | No visible effect | | Skydrol® 500B-4<
