Use:
Brady B-861 BradyGlo™ High Intensity Aluminum Egress Markers are designed for adhesive fastening to rough, as well as smooth surfaces, for low-level exit path markings, steps, and floor perimeter demarcation lines (floor-mounted and wall-mounted).

Relevant Standards:
Complies with all indoor use requirements specified in RS 6-1 and 6-1A of New York Local Law 26 including photoluminescence, washability, flammability, toxic gas generation, and radioactivity.

Approved Model Numbers Accepted For Use, City of New York, Department of Buildings: MEA No. 251-05-M BR: 45-10-6

Inherent Properties:
Brady B-861 is a non-toxic, non-radioactive, explosion safe (does not generate energy to induce explosions) material allowing for safe and effective egress.

Illuminescent Characteristics:
Illumination: 21.6 lux (2 foot-candles) for 2 hours with a 4100K cool white fluorescent lamp.
Luminance (after illumination): 10 minutes 45 mcd/m2
60 minutes 10 mcd/m2
90 minutes 6 mcd/m2

Minimum Application Temperature:
Please see manufacturer's recommendation for the adhesive chosen. Per DAP®, the Dynaflex 230® adhesive (an easy to use, widely available product) can be applied at temperatures 40°F and above. Other products may vary.
