BBP11 Printer Driver v3.1


Note: Driver version installed is 7.1.9M-3

Click the Begin Download button to start the download. When prompted, select to save the BBP11.exe file to your local harddrive. When the download is complete, double-click the BBP11.exe file to launch the self-extracting .zip file. Choose the directory to which you want the files extracted (the default is a temporary directory in your "My Documents" folder), and click UnZip. The files will be extracted and the printer driver installer launched automatically.



Select the BBP11 printer, click Next and then follow the instructions below for your type of installation:

Installing via USB

1) Plug the printer into an outlet, but do not turn it on.

2) With the printer off, plug one end of the USB cable into the printer and the other end into a USB port on the PC.

3) Turn the printer on.

4) A “Found New Hardware Wizard” appears asking if Windows Update can search for driver files; Select "No, not this time" and click on Next.

5) Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click on Next.

6) Select "Don’t search. I will choose the driver to install." and click on Next.

7) A “Hardware Type” window may appear. If this window appears, select “Printers” from the list and then click on Next. If this window doesn’t appear, move to step 8.
8) The “Add Printer Wizard” appears. Click on Have Disk…
9) The “Install From Disk” window appears. Click on Browse…
10) Browse to the location where you previously unpacked the driver files (the default directory was C:\Seagull) select the “Brady.inf” file and then click on Open.

*IMPORTANT - If you are running Windows NT 4.0, make sure to browse to the subfolder named "NT4" within the Seagull folder. Then select the inf file contained within the “NT4” folder and click on Open.

11) The “Install From Disk” window appears again. Click on OK.
12) A list of Brady printer models appears. Select the “Brady BBP11-34L” and click on Next.
13) If an “Update Driver Warning” window appears, just click on Yes. If the “Update Driver Warning” window does not appear, then move to step 14.
14) If a window appears stating that the driver has not passed Windows LOGO testing, click on “Continue Anyway”. If this window does not appear, move to step 15.
15) The wizard will start copying files; once it is done copying files, click on Finish.


Installing via COM or LPT

1) Plug the printer into an outlet, but do not turn the printer on.

2) With the printer off, plug one end of the communications cable into the printer and the other end into the PC.

3) Turn the printer on.

4) Run the Driver Installation Wizard (DriverWizard.exe) if it didn't already open on its own.

*You can find the file in the directory that you previously unpacked the driver files to (the default directory was C:\Seagull).

5) The Seagull Driver Wizard opens; Select "Install printer drivers" and click on Next.

6) Select "Brady BBP11-34L" as the Printer Model and click on Next.

7) Select the port that you have the printer plugged into (LPT1, LPT2, COM1, etc.)

a) If installing via COM, click on "Configure Port" and set the following:

Bits per second: 9600

Data bits: 8

Parity: None

Stop bits: 1

Flow control: Hardware

Click on OK and then click on Next.

b) If you are installing the printer via LPT, just click on Next.

8) A window appears allowing you to rename the printer; to make the printer the default printer; and to share the printer. Make your changes (if any) and click on Next.

9) A "Completing the Seagull Driver Wizard" window appears; click on Finish.
