Illinois No Smoking Sign

As of January 1, 2008, the "Smoke Free Illinois" Public Act 95-0017 law will go into effect throughout the state of Illinois. Smoking will be prohibited in bars, restaurants and other public workplaces across Illinois. To meet the requirements, a proprietor of a public place or place of employment where smoking is prohibited by this Act shall have posted at every entrance a conspicuous sign clearly stating that smoking is prohibited.
