NYC Approved Photoluminescent Products New York City Local Law 26, Reference Standard 6-1 and 6-1A, is a revision to the city's building code that requires all Class E commercial properties that are 75 feet or taller to retrofit their emergency evacuation stairwells with photoluminescent markings and signage on or before July 1, 2006.
