• GHS Shrunken Text Fix : Precautionary Statements Printing Very Small Font on Label and Bug and Precautionary Statements content on GHS label being cut off on the right
• CRC66 Ribbon Error Fix : Ribbon will report Error 66 (CRC failure) after user print once > open printer cover > close printer cover

You need to save settings before upgrade Note: To upgrade the firmware the printer driver needs to be installed prior to following the steps below.
Firmware Upgrade Steps Upgrade Via Usb Flash Drive 1.) Download and save to your desktop the BBP31_Firmware_Upgrade_v209_3_1_88549.zip file
2.) Extract the file to your desktop
3.) Copy the folders “BBP31Upgrade”, BootUpgrade”,& ” SafeUpgrade” to the root of the flash drive (not underneath another folder)
4.) Safely remove the usb from your pc
5.) Plug it into the usb port on the back of the printer
6.) Press the menu button ( to the right of the OK )
7.) Arrow down to Tools and press ok
8.) Arrow down to Upgrade from USB, press ok, press ok a 2nd time
9.) Printer will display upgrading Please wait
10.) Printer will automatically reboot and go to the ready screen once complete
11.) Remove usb flash drive
NOTE: If your BBP31 Printer does not have a Brady Network Card (Ethernet) slot, do not run this firmware upgrade. Without the slot, the printer is an original release version and uses a different firmware version. Contact Brady Technical Support to discuss your options.
